The Fillhart Family

I am lucky enough to call these beautiful people family!
Oh how I love this funny family.  The only downfall with this family is that they are so awesome that everyone wants to hang out with them so we have some serious competition if we want to spend time with them.  Thankfully they live close and we are able to spend birthdays, holidays, ski days and "hang out" days with them....so take that!
I love having nieces and spending time with them.  I find that they older they get...the more I love to hang out with them.  We paint our nails, go shopping together and watch wedding and cooking shows and I LOVE IT!  I hope that we will always be close and that they will want to continue to hang out with me!
I can't believe how much this beauty has grown up!  Stop it little girl!
And this one.....always has me in stitches.  Her laugh is so contagious.  The boys LOVE to hang out with her.
Stacey and Paul are so gracious, giving and loving.  They have helped us so much over the years that we can't even begin to say thank you.  We are grateful for all that you have done for us and we love you guys.
They also make me laugh like no one else.  Chris and Paul are like brothers and it is so funny to hear/see their texts back and forth.  Seriously....LOL.
I love that they wanted to go downtown to the newly renovated Union Station to have their pictures done.  I don't get to do Urban sessions very often so I had fun finding spots and getting creative with down town Denver (and almost getting hit by a bus....that part was not as fun. YIKES!).

Thanks for letting me do your pictures (finally-hee hee) and for living life alongside us.

 Love you!

Purchase Family Pictures

Oh my goodness.  Are you ready for a sweet little family?  I loved getting together with this family a few weeks ago for some family pictures.
Benjamin couldn't be any cuter.  I am a total sucker for curly haired little boys.  They just steal my heart.  Pair that with really long eyelashes and big blue eyes and I am a goner.  I took so many pictures of this adorable boy!  It cracked me up that in some of the pictures it almost seemed as though his eyelashes were so long he could hardly keep his eyes open.

Wonder which side of the family this little guy favors?
Carbon copy of his Mom!
Sorry Jim, not as much of you in there.
Small families are fun because I get to take my time with them and focus on getting lots of combinations.
And great candids!
Rebekah, you are simply gorgeous and so photogenic!

Hendrix- 4 months

It is so fun to be able to watch babies grow.  They change so much in the first year and it is so amazing to watch and document them.

Remember the sweet little redheaded newborn from a few months ago?  He is back and even cuter (if you can believe it)!
Little Hendrix is extremely adorable.  He is also a bit of a "rock star".  Diana told me that she should have know he was going to be a bit temperamental when they named him "Hendrix".  He didn't really want to perform for me, but I still managed to capture his adorableness.

I love his little hair swirl.  It totally reminds me of "Tin Tin".
I think he was giving a concert in these pictures.
These images are some of my favs.  I love "dreamy baby" pictures.  Pair that with a red radio flyer wagon and I am in love!
These two are pretty cute too.  I can't believe how much Hendrix looks like his dad....
I love watching first time parents snuggling with their precious baby.   Prepare for black and white overload.  I just couldn't help myself.  These images begged for black and white.
Hendrix just wanted to be snuggled for the last part of our session.  After they left Diana sent me a sweet picture of him sacked out in the backseat.  All he needed was a diaper change and a nap!  Poor little guy.  It is tough to be 4 months old.
And here is another favorite.
I can hardly wait for our next session when he is 8 months old!  Click here to see the entire gallery from this session.

The Concilio Family

Oh how I love this family.  They have such servant hearts and a love for people.  They work hard and love well.  What more could you want in friends and clients?
James might have some explaining to do with his "no shave November" facial hair....but that is between he and his wife!
Not only are James and Erica wonderful...their kids are so fun to be around!
I love this progression of pictures.  The girls were so cute together!  I especially love the one of Ava looking at her big sister.

Bella is rough and tumble and LOVES to play with our boys.  They love her too.  She is always up for a game of tag or playing ball.  In this age of princess obsessed girls...a little bit of a tom boy is like a breath of fresh air!  I love that even at an early age, she knows what she wants and doesn't do things because that is what everyone else is doing.
So much fun and personality in this family!
Ava is more of a princess girl.  I can still hear her singing "Do you want to build a snowman" over and over to anyone who would listen.  This little sweetheart also knows no stranger.  Often times when Erica and I meet for lunch, we turn our backs and find her sitting with another family at the play place and chatting with strangers.  Enduring...but also makes you panic when you can't find her.  Her little face is one of my favorites to photograph because she is so cute and expressive.

One of my favorite parts of a session is getting the candid pictures or different combinations of family members hanging out together.  Gives me a little glimpse into their family life.
I have been wanting to do some blanket wrapped pictures for awhile now and they were the perfect guinea pigs.  I love the way they turned out.  It helped that it was a bit chilly at the end of our session so they wanted to be all wrapped up.
The other thing I love about taking pictures of this family is the payment plan we have!  Erica is an Arbonne consultant and therefore we do a barter.  Pictures for products.  It is a win/win for both of us.  I get my much loved facial cleanser and moisturizer (seriously amazing and all natural ladies....give Erica a call) and she gets family pictures!
I love to barter....so if you have something you want to trade for pictures, let me know and we can work something out.
