The Miller Family- Littleton Family Photography

Want to know what it looks like to have a 3 year old and a one year old?  Controlled Chaos that is frustrating and exhilarating at the same time.

It looks a lot like this.  There are days that are a little rough and the kids really want gum before the photo shoot and you say no.

And then during the session you get to snuggle with them and it makes all that drama fly right out the window.

I love being with families and documenting all of it.  From the tantrums to the sweet moments.  Because it goes really fast and you will soon forget the difficult times and you will wish you could rewind it all again for moments like this!

This little one has a smidgen of drama but it is packaged in the most adorable little body.  Somehow she reminds me of a Disney Character.  It must be all of that beautiful hair and those expressive and soulful eyes.

And this little guy.  He was just happy to be there.  Happy to play in the dirt.  Happy to play with the leaves.  Just happy.  Can you get over the smile and the drool?  Seriously....I know it sounds weird but I love the drool.

It was a little tricky to get sibling pictures with these two.  They weren't really interested in sitting still (like most toddlers).  But oh my.  When they put their minds to it, we got some magical pictures.  Feast your eyes on these.

My favorite moment of the session is when I had these two all posed for a cute little couple picture and then I said "okay, we can be done" and then I turned around 2 seconds later to find this.  LOVE IT!!  So nice to see they still have the magic.

I loved meeting you Miller family.  I can't wait to do it again.

The Brainards- Littleton Family Photography

I love this family and I am so thankful that I was able to do their pictures again this year!

First of all, they are adorable.  Can we all agree on that?

Second of all, they are the nicest people you will meet and are willing to do help out everyone around them.  My nephew is on the same team as Aidan and Jeff is one of their coaches.  It is always fun to go see their games and to catch up with Christa.  Also, Asher is the same age as my Jameson and whenever they are together they have a great time playing.

They set a new record for the number of images I delivered for a single session.  I had a hard time narrowing it down!

It was a pretty warm day for October, but that is the kind of fall we have had this year.  Hard to get all cozied up when it is 80 degrees outside.  Come on!  It is time for boot and scarf weather already.  However, I still made them cozy up and wrap a blanket around them because....it is adorable.

I have known these kids for at least 4 years and I can't believe how big they are getting!  They are about the same ages as my kids and I wish all of these kids would quit growing!

Aidan.  Baseball player.  7th grader.  Great kid.

Abby. Cute as can be.  Ballerina. Sweet as pie.

Asher. Totally charming with a tiny hint of mischievousness.  Adorable.

Jeff and Christa.  Still totally in love and people you want as friends.

And to finish it all off, we had to have some fun!

It is a pleasure to know this amazing family and to be able to see them every year for pictures.

The Grande Family- Golden Family Photography

I first met Mia and her family last year when she was just turning one.  Now she is two and on the move!

She was a little shy, but my little helper George, the monkey, helped smooth the waters.  All of the kids LOVE George and if you look closely he makes it into a photo or two here and there. Whatever gets them to smile, right?

Look at those eyelashes.

It was a beautiful day in Golden and the leaves and water were spectacular.

This little girl loves her mommy and daddy.  Aren't they so cute together?

Laying down pictures are a great way to keep a little one still for more than 2 seconds.  And they love to play "night night" and then we yell "morning!!!" and they open their eyes and laugh.  Works every time.

It's no wonder that Mia is so cute.  Look at her gorgeous mama!!

I love that Kara always brings a pumpkin and Mia's costume to our sessions.  Her birthday is right near Halloween so they can kill two birds with one stone and get pictures of her costume at the same time as family pictures.

Mia was trying to show me how many "fingers" she is.  I love this age.

It is so fun to be able to compare each year.

It was so good to see you guys again and I am already looking forward to next year and seeing the pumpkin and costume! (This one is my favorite family picture...don't you think?)
