Baby Landon- 3 months

I love to watch and document babies growing!  It is a wonder to watch them grow from a wrinkly little person into a happy smiley baby and  Landon is my friend.

He was a cute little baby and now is an even cuter 3 month old.  His grandparents were all in town for the weekend so we got together and had a grand ol' time (I couldn't resist).

I love the way the grandparents gaze at him!  So adoring and loving.

I can't wait to keep watching you grow Landon.  For more pictures visit my Facebook page or my website.

Sneak Peek: Aidan

Remember this little guy?

Now he is One!  Time flies.

I always have so much fun with this family.  I feel like I have known them forever and just this week we realized that we did in fact meet 11 years ago when we were both (Brian and I) in our mutual friend's wedding.  Crazy!

During this session we all learned a few things about Aidan.  Things that none of us (even his parents) knew about him.

1.  He loves lollipops (okay, what kid doesn't).  But this was his first time eating one and he loved it!
This was his first taste.  He wasn't sure what to think at first!

2.  He loves rocking chairs.  Again, first time in a rocking chair and he would cry if we tried to get him out of it.  Luckily it was at the end of our time together.

3.  Aidan loves chalk and chalk boards.  He loves writing on it and playing with it.  It was a blast watching him and taking pictures of him with his chalk board.  I bet I know what his mom and dad are going to buy him for presents!
Can you see all of his "markings"?
Aidan, it has been such a joy watching you grow!  I always look forward to our sessions together.  Happy Birthday Big Boy!

First Steps all by himself!  Fell down right after this picture.

Sneak Peek- Ellie

Spring has FINALLY come to Colorado!  We haven't seen snow for a few days now and the trees and grass are so green.  Love it!  It makes for a beautiful backdrop for pictures.  Much better than brown grass and bare, lifeless trees!

This little gal just turned one!  Her big brothers are in Makai and Tanner's classes at school and they have had so much fun this school year having play dates.  When Mary mentioned that she needed some one year old pictures of Ellie, I told her I was the gal for her!  I went over to their house the other day and we played and roamed around for awhile.  Ellie was pretty smiley at first, but after a bit she just wanted to play with her favorite thing..... dandelions.  She is so cute and easy going (you have to be with 2 big brothers!).  It was wonderful to be able to capture this time in her life.  We even let her have a sucker and a cupcake!  Every kid's dream (and every photographer's secret weapon).

Thanks for having me over Mary.  I have loved getting to know your family! For more pictures of sweet Ellie visit me on Facebook or go to my website.

The Mattesons +1

So....apparently I have been a slacker.  A month since my last post.  Sorry!  I think I have 1-2 blogs that I have started and just never I got back to.  Now that the sale is over and I have had a little more free time (yeah right), I have been trying to play catch up.  And now that the weather is FINALLY getting nicer, it is time to start ramping up the business!

The Mattesons are just some of my favorite people.  They are fun, genuine and ALWAYS have your back.  They are some of the most giving servants that I have ever met.  They are getting ready to have baby #2 and so I bugged her and bugged her until I finally got her behind my lens.  She is one of the cutest pregnant ladies and she chose the most beautiful colored dress (in a quick, desperate run into the gap- $13 and 5 minutes later she was ready for the session).

We had fun running around and playing and trying to get Grant to stand still so that we could take some pictures.  It was beautiful out (with perfect lighting) and the rain held off until we were driving home.

Silly Cora!

This is more of what I was going for!

Grant loves to push in the belly button

They were married here almost 8 years ago!  So cool to see their brick still in place.

This is how a real mom works.  Always running.

I can't wait to meet the baby girl!  Congrats guys.  Love you!
