Cheyenne and David- Engagement

I love working with the young and in love.
When I got married at the ripe old age of 21, I felt so mature and felt like I had it all together.
Now I look back and realize how young and inexperienced I was.

However, there is something to be said for fresh, young perspective and head-over-heels love.
I love being around them.  It makes me thankful to have had that
young love and that I have been able to grow that love into
something long-lasting and beautiful.
The youth and enthusiasm these two have is refreshing and exciting.
I loved meeting with Cheyenne early this year to talk wedding details
and to see if we were a good fit!  It was like we were of the same mind.
We have similar taste and likes and I can't wait to photograph their wedding in June.
I also enjoyed getting to meet her Love, seeing them interact and
getting to know them as a couple.  It is so helpful for the wedding day.
We get to practice posing and they get comfortable with me so on their big day,
we are able to relax and have fun!

She and David are so cute together and we had a blast roaming
around Chatfield Botanic Gardens.  She wasn't able to get married there,
so doing an engagement session there was the next best thing!
These two were quick to smile and were totally at ease in front of the camera!
They knew exactly what I wanted even before I had to say it.

And Colorado was in it's usual, breathtaking form.
I can't wait for June to be able to document these two lives becoming one!

Hendrix- 9 months

This kid lives up to his name.  A total rock star.
I am so thankful that he is one of my "baby's first year" clients
and that I get to see him every few months.
Dreamy.
Can you even believe this amazing "rock star" hair?
He was so happy to show off his new skills like clapping and smiling!
Happy Family.
I love all of the faces they start to make at this age.
They start to get a little attitude and have so much expression!
A little outfit change and we were off and running again.
Orange you glad I am posting these pictures?
Sorry for the cheesy segue, but Hendrix thinks it is funny.
There is nothing like a sweet mother-son picture!
This little family.  So much love.
Please keep enjoying this little butterball.
I love these rolls and can't wait to squish them again in a few months.

Tim and Molly- Engagement

I haven't done an engagement session in a while and I have missed it!
I love working with couples.  It is so nice to be able to spend an extended time
just focusing on them and their relationship.  I also love that engagement sessions
give me a chance to get to know the couple before their wedding day
and that we are able to practice posing!  It makes the wedding day so much easier.
These two......know how to work the camera.
It has been a thrill to work with this beautiful couple.
I can't wait for their upcoming August wedding.

Molly, you are gorgeous.
Doesn't every guy want a woman to look at him like this?
So much love.

Noah- 6 months

Remember this amazing family?  Can you believe that Noah is already 6 months old?  It feels like just yesterday that I was rushing to the hospital to try to make this little guy's debut.
I am so thankful that I am able to document Noah's first year.  It is amazing how much they change in just 6 short months.

I love how different these brothers look.  Aidan has the most beautiful brown eyes (like his Daddy) and Noah has the most amazing blue eyes (like his Mama).
As crazy as it is to think that Noah is 6 months, it is mind-blowing that Aidan is about to turn 3!  I love this kid.  He knows me and knows that if he is a good boy, he gets a lollipop.  Let's just say that before I meet this family, I make sure that my lollipop stash is well stocked.  I have him well trained....or perhaps it is the other way around.
This family is so full of love.
You two......still have the spark after two kids.  So beautiful.
They also gaze at their children with such love and devotion.  These kids are LUCKY!
I can't wait for our next session and to see how much the boys have grown again!
