The class of 2018 has been amazing this year. I have loved spending time with this group of young adults.
Mia is so beautiful! Looks at those big, gorgeous eyes.
Such a small world in that Mia's dad and my husband have known each other since my husband was in 6th grade at outdoor lab and Mia's dad was his counselor. How fun is that?!
It was a little bit over cast and humid for our session. Luckily Mia has such beautiful, thick curly hair that wasn't bothered a bit by the weather. In fact, it made it even prettier (if that is even possible).
I love that Mia wanted to bring her friend along for pictures! Having friends along means having an extra pair of hands and someone else to help get genuine smiles! Plus then you get the bonus of having some BFF pictures.
How cute are these two together?
All of her outfits were so well put together. I loved them all!! Way to go on styling, Mia (and Julie)!
I think this is my favorite outfit.
Mia is part Indian and I love that she wanted to honor her Indian heritage by wearing a Sari for some of her pictures.
Isn't this bright pinky-purple just stunning?!
I have always dreamed of taking pictures of an Indian Sari and I got my wish with this beauty. Beautiful on top of beautiful.
Mia's grandmother always brings back a Sari for each granddaughter every time she visits India. She did a good job picking out this Sari for Mia on her last visit!
It was threatening rain during our session and there were even a few thunder claps that made me a bit nervous, but in the end the sun came out and made for amazing lighting!
Don't you love this new/old blanket I found earlier this summer at an antique store? When you first look at it, it doesn't seem like it would make a good backdrop but every time I take photos on this blanket I LOVE them. There is something striking about the black backdrop that makes for unique and striking photos.
Thanks for a fun shoot ladies!
Mia you are stunning and I wish you the best of luck in your senior year. I hope it is a BLAST!
