From the moment I met Renee, I knew it was meant to be. We hit it off so well and I was so excited when she chose me to be her wedding photographer. Her first photographer fell through so she found me a little later in the game and I am so thankful!
They chose not to have a bridal party so instead family members were just hanging out together while she was getting ready and before the ceremony. It was a very relaxed way to start the day.
Her colors of blush, charcoal, and unpolished gold accented each other beautifully!
I have always wanted to shoot at the Clock Tower in Downtown Denver and it did not disappoint.
We did their first look on the top floor and then climbed a spiral staircase WAY up to the bell tower. Ryan is a bit afraid of heights and I was so proud of him for making it all the way up there so we could do photos. It is such a cool and unique view of the city.
The clock made for such a beautiful backdrop for photos. All that natural light!!!
Look at Renee and her boys.
Is this bride not absolutely stunning?? Her dress was to die for!!! I loved all of the lace. And it looked so pretty against the skyline of downtown.
The ring bearer and flower girl are their niece and nephew and they stole the show!
Their ceremony was beautiful and full of laughter, joy and smiles.
Don't they just look so happy together??
They waited a LONG time to get married (hence their Instagram tag #thesevenyearhitch) so the whole day was full of joy and celebration!
After the ceremony, we headed down the tower and out onto the busy down town streets. It had been raining on and off all day but the skies cleared for our pictures. Yahoo!
It is an experience doing wedding portraits in the middle of a busy down town area. But it was so much fun! They got tons of whistles and well-wishes and even got photo-bombed by a big bear.
There was a big festival going on so the streets were blocked off, which made it difficult for the guests but was great for taking photos in the middle of the street. I love how in black and white you can't tell which era it is. Could have been 100 years ago!
I think these are my favorite!
After our down town shots it was time to party!!!
The dance floor was a bit crowded but that makes for more fun and great pictures. There is nothing worse than an empty dance floor at a wedding!
It was a beautiful and special day and a night to remember! Thanks for letting me be a part of your special day Ryan and Renee. May your marriage be full of love and laughter!
Big thanks to all of the vendors who made the day flow beautifully and come off without a hitch.
