After a wonderful and relaxing Christmas and New Year it is time for me to get back on the horse and get back to work! I have spent more time in my jammies the last two weeks than the last few months combined. It has been glorious.
I did this session just a few days before Christmas but I am just now getting around to blogging it. This sweet little thing is getting ready to audition for a performing arts school. I was a bit surprised when she showed up. I was expecting an older girl who was getting ready for high school or college. Imagine my surprise when a sweet little 10 year old and her best friend were there instead. Apparently she can start the performing arts school in 6th grade. How fun would that be?
I am impressed that this young lady has a dream and is willing to pursue it. Kudos to her family for jumping on board and helping her to reach her goals. I wish I had known and pursued my passion when I was that age. I am only about 20 years behind her!
Sadie has such a quiet and distigushed beauty. She is pretty serious but I loved that about her. She seemed so grounded and content. Not something you see very often in someone so young. She also rocked it even though it was pretty chilly outside!
Sadie, I hope these head shots help you achieve your goal and that you make it into the program for school next year. If not, keep shooting for the stars and you will eventually get there and be a lot stronger when you do!
These girls have been life-long friends. So glad I got one of them together.
Happy New Year Everyone! I can't wait to see what 2015 brings!
