Carter- One Year Pictures

Can you say eyelashes?  I can say Jealous!

This little guy has the longest and cutest eyelashes I have ever seen.

He always looks so deep in thought.
I wonder what is going on in his little head.

Carter turned one a few months ago but their household was
riddled with sickness so we had to postpone his session.

He was a little tired at his session and didn't want to give me
the big smiles but I still caught a few smiles.

And the serious black and whites are my favorite anyway!

Then it was time for his cake smash.

I love to watch their little fingers explore the frosting.

It ALWAYS ends like this.  Every single time.

And then there is the aftermath.

Happy belated 1st birthday Carter.

Halle's Gold and Pink 1st Birthday- Denver Baby Photography

Just when I think that Katie can't top the last session
she goes and pulls this off.

Seriously???

Who knew that gold and pink would be the cutest
combination for a little girl's first birthday?

Everything is always perfectly coordinated and stunningly beautiful!
I love my sessions with this family for lots of different reasons,
but the style factor is up there!

They are getting ready to go on a family vacation to Disneyworld
in a few months so that was incorporated too!

Halle wasn't so sure about her cake.
She did love the little gold balls on the top though.

I know I always get carried away with cake smash pictures.
But I just can't help it!  They are so cute how they
get frosting all over.  Including their adorable toes.
Halle was no different.

Most of the cake smashes end up like this at the end too.

Either they are on overload from sugar, they are scared/overwhelmed
by the cake or they are mad that you took their cake away.

Halle was just kind of "over" it.

But I still managed to get a ton of cute pictures of this beauty.
She has the cutest personality and is adored by the entire family.
Don't be fooled though.  This girl is a Daddy's girl through and through.

I am so thankful that I was able to do 4 sessions with this,
my favorite family, this year.  I am sad it is over.
I am feeling like this too.

Can't you guys have another one???  You make the cutest kids!

Linking the Past to the Present- Lakewood Baby Photographer

Wait until you see what we did with these pictures!

Little Nate is such a blessing.  He is the youngest (and only boy)
of one of my long-time friends.  I was over the moon when I was
able to do his newborn photos.  Now he is a bit bigger and is one of
the most adorable babies I have ever laid eyes on.

Don't you think?  I mean....how can you be that chubby
and still get your foot in your mouth??

He has a little sparkle in his eye.

Deb wanted to recreate some black and white photos
they have framed in their house.
I was totally up for the challenge.

The first set of pictures were 3 photos of her husband when he was 6 months old.
Unfortunately, I don't have the pictures of Greg, but here is Nate.

Next, she had a collage of cute little body parts of her girls
when they were six months old.  So of course we had
to recreate those as well.  So here are all of Nate's cute body parts.

He is SO adorable!

Big sisters had to get in on the action too.
It is obvious that this little guy is VERY well loved.

What a fun project!

Thanks for the challenge Deb!

The Lavoie Family- Littleton Extended Family Pictures

Are you wanting big family pictures?
What are you waiting for?

Summer is the perfect time to schedule pictures with all the
brothers, sisters, cousins and grandparents.  We had ours done
almost 2 years ago and they are still some of my favorites.
It is about time for me to have them done again!

Summer is perfect because schedules tend to be a bit more relaxed
and often times family can come in from out of town
making it a big family affair.

The best part about extended family pictures?  You get to split the cost!
You also get great combinations like these. (I want to be like Grandpa).

I loved this family from the first moment we met.
They had me laughing and it is obvious that they are crazy about each other!

Even the dogs wanted to get in on the action.

Although I am pretty sure they were more interested
in photo bombing than anything.  Silly dogs!

These kids.  Oh my heart.  They were ADORABLE during
our session.  Cooper loved my "George" monkey that I use to help kids
look at my camera.  He carried "George" all night.  It was so cute.

Sweet little Emma had just broken her arm.
It always happens right before pictures, right??
Thankfully she was able to wear a brace instead of a cast and
she could take it off for some of the pictures.  Whew!
She was a trooper and I never heard her complain once.

She is also super photogenic and LOVED to pose for me.

I left this session with a smile on my face and a thankful
heart that I get to meet the best people and that I have the best job.

Do you have someone coming into town and need a group picture?
DO IT!  You won't regret it.
Get it on the calendar and call your favorite photographer.
