Baby Kamden

What a wonderful time of year to have a baby!  Talk about a wonderful gift.

This sweet little bundle of joy joined the world on November 25th via c-section.  This mom and dad were so mellow especially considering Kamden is their first born.  Either that or they were totally sleep deprived.  Perhaps a little of each!

Kamden was a pure joy to work with.  He was so mellow and snuggly and let me pose him in a lot of different ways.  I love my job in that I get to snuggle with mushy little babies.  It fills my heart with such joy and makes my kids growing up a little bit easier.  You just wait guys....Kamden will be going to Kindergarten in the blink of an eye!
We had to do a few Santa pictures with it being so close to Christmas.  What a sweet little Santa complete with the cutest rosy nose.
Brianne graduated from KU so naturally we had to get some pictures with the Jayhawks hat.
I love being in people's homes for newborn sessions.  It is so much more personal and I love the sweet images I am able to get with the family in the nursery and just hanging out as a new little family.
 Hello world!
There is nothing like a mama and her new baby.
I love how tiny a newborn baby looks in his daddy's arms.
Even Grandma got in on the action!  I love how it looks like they are chatting with each other.
Brianne and Kyle, congratulations on your little guy.  It was a pleasure to meet you and thank you for allowing me to snuggle and love on your baby boy!

Cousins

I was so happy to hear from Rebekah again saying she wanted more pictures!  Her sister and her neices were going to be in town for Thanksgiving and she wanted some pictures of the kids together for her mom for Christmas.  What a great idea!  I love when people want to use photos as gifts.  I love getting pictures of my kids and their cousins so naturally this session of cousins was a treat for me.
These three cousins live far apart, but you can tell that they love each other and get to see each other often.  It is funny that each of these kids is an only child and that they are all less than a year apart. I bet they will grow up being close and almost like siblings. How cool is that?  The girls live in Texas and little Benjamin lives here in Colorado.  I can't imagine being that far away from my sister.  Sometimes 10 houses away seems too far for us!
The kids had a great time playing around and playing camera hog.  They all loved having their picture taken and wanted me to follow them around.  They also had great suggestions for locations!  I love it when the kids get involved and invested in the pictures.  They turn out so much better that way.
I love that the sisters wanted a few pictures as well.  All I can think of when looking at this picture is the song from White Christmas...."Sisters, sisters, there were never such devoted sisters".

I hope their grandma loves these pictures.  With faces like these.....who couldn't!?

The Kosman Family

Oh. my. goodness.  Sometimes I get a session in which everything goes perfect and the images are stunning.  Well prepare yourself because this is one of those sessions.
First of all, this family is amazing.  The whole family.  The Rem sisters are the best!  I so glad that we had one of the sisters as our neighbors and that she introduced us to her entire family.  I have done weddings, family pictures and now maternity pictures for these girls.  They are some of the happiest, most beautiful (inside and out) women that I know!

Today we focus on Lauren, the "baby" sister,.  The youngest sisters are my favorite as I was the youngest of three sisters myself!  Not only is this woman amazingly gorgeous, she has the sweetest disposition.  Although the fact that she is so cute and fit during her pregnancy makes me want to dislike her a TINY bit.  There is good reason as to why she is so cute and fit...she is a fitness coach.  So if you need to get fit in 2015, you should get in touch with her!
And then there is her husband, Leo.  Leo is from Brazil and has THE. BEST. ACCENT.  He is also one of the most charming people I have ever met.  As Tommy Boy would say...."he could sell a ketchup Popsicle to a woman in white gloves".   I could listen to him talk all day and he is so fun and personable.  He had me laughing all through our session.
Pair these two together and you get adorable children as well.
Luca has the cutest brown eyes and is so expressive.  I can't wait to see what his baby sister looks like!  He was so good during our time together and let me get tons of great photos.   Thanks buddy!
Lauren+Leo=Luca and Baby Girl (name TBD)
Love that belly!
Congrats you two!  May 2015 be full of joy and added blessings.

The King Family

It is amazing how much kids grow in 2 years!

2012
2014
These girls have such personality!  Danica knew exactly what she wanted and was a total charmer.  She has a way with the camera.

She was adamant about this picture.  I love that she had such vision and I love how it turned out.  I think she looks like a beautiful little Russian girl!  Not sure why, but she does.  Perhaps it is the scarf on the head?
MacKenzie is a little more subdued but she could be a model when she grows up.  She just has a sparkle in her eyes and is such a cutie.
These girls also loved to hang out together.  No fighting or bickering.  Just love and hugs.  So fun to watch.

Can you say "Christmas Card"?  Laura, you should totally pick this one!
Mark loved this old fashioned truck....so obviously we had to take a picture.
Laura requested a picture with their beloved dogs.  These best friends are getting up there in age so it was nice to be able to get a good family picture with them.
The morning light was so beautiful and I am so happy with how these pictures turned out.  Simply beautiful!
You can see the entire gallery of their pictures here.

Do you have your Christmas cards picture yet?  I hope so!  I wish I did!
